The
Village Green Motel and Cottages are
located in the seaside community of Wells on the
Southern Maine Coast. Directly to the north of
Wells are the summer resort towns of Kennebunk
and Kennebunkport, to the south of Wells is the
artist colony of Oqunquit. From Wells, it
is a short ride to either Kittery or Freeport,
known for their extraordinary brand-name outlet
shops.
From
points north: Take exit 19 off Rt. I-95, the
Maine Turnpike. Proceed to Rt. 1 south.
Follow Rt. 1 for approximately 2 miles. The Village
Green is on the left.
From
points south: Take "The Yorks" exit
off Rt. I-95, exit 7, just before the tolls. Proceed
to Rt. 1 north (turn left on Rt. 1). Follow Rt.
1 for 13 miles north, the Village Green is on
the right hand side in Wells.

outdoor summer concert at Harbor Park.
Visit
us in the fall,
the prettiest time of the year. Take a nature
hike at Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm where
you will find seven miles of maintained trails.
Take in a game of golf at one the fine area
courses and, discover for yourself why Maine
is known as New England's Center for antiques
and rare books.
